What a better way to start the day than with an healthy smoothie! For those of you who begin the day with exercise, you will agree with me dat all you need is a boost of energy before you go out for your run or fitness routine.
The truth is drinking smoothies is very healthy and it has been around social media for a while now. But finding a smoothie that is not that sweet, healthy, that actually gives you energy but tastes good is not that easy. And since I have started running I was in the hunt for a good recipe!
Look no further, because I have got just the one for you! The best part is that it’s inexpensive and super easy!
What you’ll need:
- Coconut milk
What to do:
- First clean or peal your fruits. Chop the peeled fruit into pieces and get them inside the mixer.
Tip: Boil the rest of the skin that you peeled off the pineapple with a bit of sugar and you will also have a delicious juice for the next smoothie. Don’t use the leaves at the top.
2. Mix the fruit pieces and add little by little the coconut milk until you reach the desired thickness. Let is cool down in the fridge for a bit and you are ready to go!
This will for sure give you a morning boost before your work out and it is completely healthy!
