Spring is here, finally. Very exciting because this year comes with a lot of new and inspiring trends for the Spring/Summer season. As the Fall Collection’s Fashion Weeks went by, we already saw a lot more trends that I can’t wait to wear. And as usual the Parisian streets were filled with new trends last week that inspired us all. One of the most important trends we saw in the runway, was Dior’s ready-to-wear Black and Blue collection. So sexy, chic and classy that it took me no time to create a look inspired on their show.
Many say that navy blue and black should not be combined. My grandmother loved wearing both colors and that gave her always a fancy vibe. There is a lot to learn about Dior’s collection. The matching of fancy pieces with denim for example which is a big trend not only for the upcoming season but also for Fall and Winter. The mixing of textures is also amazing and something worth introducing in our daily street wear. That allows us to wear one or two colors only in one outfit and still look amazing.
There was black and blue in every style and presentation, velvet, denim, oversized, leather. If you see the show you just want it all! And since we still don’t have such a war weather and I was looking for something chic yet casual I created this look to inspire you all to wear this trend everywhere. Very popular as well is wearing menswear which is actually very chic.
I went for a sultry yet classic vibe with a blue blazer with a black leather collar with no shirt underneath. Deep-V tops are really in this summer and spring, still be careful that you don’t over do it or the outfit will loose it’s class. To keep it casual I went for some blue skinny trousers. Like every model in the Dior show a black beret. I added a pop of color with my earrings, socks and lips, to keep it youthful. For a more vintage vibe I added round glasses and patent oxford shoes.
